(NYSE: AAI), today announced plans to begin service in Atlantic City, N.J., effective June 11, 2009. The expanding low-fare carrier will offer roundtrip nonstop flights between Atlantic City International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

In addition to the nonstop flights, AirTran Airways connects to more than 35 destinations through Atlanta, including Orlando, Fla., Los Angeles, Calif., and Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas.
