Low-fare airline gives tickets to Milwaukee's Molly Malaney to explore her
new romance
ORLANDO, Fla., April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a
subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), is reinforcing its "Go.
There's Nothing Stopping You." mantra by providing airline tickets to
Milwaukee resident and recent television celebrity, Molly Malaney.
The tickets will be used for Malaney to visit her boyfriend, Jason Mesnick
- the 2009 star of ABC's reality show The Bachelor, from Warner Horizon
Television - via AirTran Airways' direct service from Milwaukee to his
hometown of Seattle. Malaney appeared on The Bachelor as a competitor and
ultimately won Jason's affection. AirTran Airways delivered the tickets to
Malaney along with roses, a hallmark of the show.
"AirTran Airways believes high fares shouldn't stop people from being
together," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales, AirTran
Airways. "Our low fares and extensive service make it easy and affordable for
Milwaukeeans to visit friends, family and business associates across the
country. We wish Jason and Molly well as they explore their budding romance."
The carrier has recently announced a number of new routes which will
increase service in Milwaukee by more than 55 percent. When service fully
expands in June, AirTran Airways will offer 33 daily departures from General
Mitchell International Airport to 19 nonstop destinations.
