Airline Bridges the Gap Between the American Southwest and East Coast -

ORLANDO, Fla., May 27, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced new nonstop service from San Antonio International Airport, to Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airportand Orlando International Airport on May 27.

"San Antonio residents will now have convenient access to Baltimore and Orlando, major destinations for both business and leisure travelers," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways. AirTran Airways began service to San Antonio on June 11, 2008. In addition to these new destinations, the airline also offers direct flights to its hub in Atlanta.
