- AirTran Airways Resumes Seasonal Service to Seattle/Tacoma with Convenient Travel Options From the East - ORLANDO, Fla., May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced that it resumes seasonal service to Seattle/Tacoma International Airport in Seattle, Wash. The low- cost carrier offers three daily flights between Seattle/Tacoma and Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Ga. AirTran Airways will also offer flights five days per week between Seattle/Tacoma and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport in Baltimore, Md. "We are pleased to resume our popular summer service to Seattle/Tacoma," said Kevin Healy, AirTran Airways' vice president of planning.
